PhD day 2016

Dear PhD students,

this year's PhD day takes place on October 10, 2016.

The PhD day will consist of talks and a poster session. Every PhD student is invited to submit an abstract about their current research project by September 5. Posters are due on September, 18. Please mail the abstracts to Malte Belz (see email below) and respect the guidelines announced below.

Advanced PhD students are invited to give a 30-minute talk, followed by a 15-minute discussion.

The program will be announced in late September.

Guidelines for submitting abstracts

single spacing
1 page (including references)
Submission in PDF, latest submission 31/08/2016
Templates: .docx | .odt | .pdf

 

Guidelines for poster printing

If you would like me to print your poster for you (format: A0), please send it in pdf format to malte [dot] belz [at] hu [hyphen] berlin [dot] de

Only posters received by 19/09/2016 can be printed and collected.

Please respect the guidelines of HU-Posterdruck!

Apart from that, your poster should contain the following features:

  • The logo of HU needs to be placed in the upper right corner (please adhere to the corporate design!).
  • The following information must be printed on the poster
    • Name
    • Title
    • Institution
    • Advisor
    • References
  • Naming convention: Lastname_FORMAT.pdf --> e.g., Seeliger_A0.pdf
